Food waste is responsible for 8% of the greenhouse gases produced by society.

There are many hungry people in the world.

Croplands are running out to feed the world population.

In Chile, it is estimated that 52% of fruit and vegetables go to processing in 246 industries, which would produce 4.6 million tons of waste per year from this raw material.
